The first animal of the Permian series! My sister and I first discovered Moschops when we found a statue of one at a museum, and immediately fell in love. They are the prehistoric incarnation of those big dogs that just kind of stare at you and drool. Adorably ugly, and super cuddly in a giant synapsid kind of way... They're basically 16-foot-long lizard cows, and were the largest land animals of their time. They may have had headbutting rituals. I love them.
