Like a massive wolf with twelve-centimeter fangs, this animal was an ancestor of mammals, but lived even before the dinosaurs. With chai, apple and orange, this blend is juicy, savory, and spicy--it's altogether dangerous, and that's just what Gorgonops was.

Gorgonopsia were the dominant predators of their day, the largest specimens reaching four meters in length. They preyed on large synapsids, and had the advantage of speed because their legs were directly below their body. Their body structure was the precursor to most predatory land mammals today, including big felines and canines.
