The extinct giant ground sloth was one of the largest land mammals ever to exist, its size exceeded only by mammoths and Paraceratherium. It was the size of modern elephants, and like modern sloths, had massive claws and a long tongue. They were one of the only South American animal groups to migrate to and flourish in North America. Disastrous climate change? They just shrugged and said 'Eh. Don't really care.' Sloths are the best.
