December 25th is National Pumpkin Pie Day-- odd timing since I think people largely make some variation of the dessert for Thanksgiving then make other treats for Christmas. I'm not fond of the Pumpkin Spice flavored black tea-- it has a strange flavor which I think is supposed to represent pumpkin. This blend is based on the actual ingredients of real pumpkin pie sans pumpkin-- Cream for the milk, Caramel for the sweetener, Oriental Spice and spice accents for the spice mixture. I've suggested additional accents to be added at home which I feel make this tea distinctive and tastier. The ginger root flavor is prominent so you may wish to pick out some bits if you prefer that cinnamon take the lead. I know tastes vary.
