Part of my mytholotea series. Hades is the Greek god of the underworld and brother to Zeus and Poseidon. Following their victory against the Titans, Hades and his brothers drew lots for realms to rule. Zeus got the sky, Poseidon got the seas, and Hades received the underworld. Despite modern connotations of death as evil, Hades was often portrayed as passive rather than evil; his role was often maintaining relative balance. The exception to this being whenever someone tried to steal souls from his domain and when he stole Persephone to become his wife. Hades is often depicted with his three-headed dog, Cerberus. Suggested brewing instructions: 190° for 3-5 mins.
