“ Wonderfully strong cup of tea with a nice apricot touch. It stands up to the idea of a cup of coffee. Very smoky and earthy--just the ticket some mornings. ”
“ I was a little uncertain trying this tea, but it was absolutely delicious. I added some rock sugar and let it cool some before drinking, and the apricot is a wonderful, bright fruity taste that is backed up by the pu erh and smokiness, both of which are as subtle as I like them. Very good blend, and very fitting for the character. ”
“ The lapsang is smokey but subdued in this blend, and pairs very well with the pu erh dante to create a blend that's earthy but silky smooth. That's really nice.
But what excited me most about this blend was the addition of the apricot. It's there, and when the tea is cool, it starts to sneak out, adding that golden sweetness I was really craving, but I just wish it was less overpowered by the stronger teas it's paired with.
A good tea and one well-suited to it's inspiration, but not quite as good as some of the others I've tried, at least by my personal expectations. ”
