“ If you're not a lapsang fan, you might not care for this blend, but as someone that loves it I think it's delicious - you have the smokiness of the lapsang, but it's kept in check by the assam and the chocolate adds just the right amount of sweetness. My only complaint is that it doesn't brew up as strong as I'd like, but that's personal preference. I usually have it without milk. Definitely brings to mind a thrilling firefight. ”

“ I saw this tea described as a 'punch' and, well, it's not inaccurate, though I might put it more as a headshot, a sudden very strong taste with the cooling smokiness of the aftermath of Garrus's sniper rifle. Certainly accurate to the ship. VERY strong, and while I've had smokier teas, if you're not already familiar with the... interestingness that is lapsang souchong, it can be a tad overwhelming. Definitely not something to go for if you're just looking for flavors, but the malty-cocoa-smokiness is honestly just what I needed to start my day. ”

“ I'm a little nervous writing this (I wasn't ready to be a one turian kind of woman), but I bought the sample for a reason. If you're a person who REALLY likes strong, bittersweet, and smoky black tea. by all means buy this! If you're not a fan of lapsang souchong (or familiar with it), be cautious. I've never tried lapsang souchong and I was not prepare for it. It was like getting punched in the gut (with the feels for this ship), although it did wake me up. After drowning it with milk, sugar, and honey, I was able to drink it, but I thought it was wasteful if I try to hide the main ingredients every time. Unfortunately, not my kind of tea, but this shouldn't stop other people from trying it! It's a different experience, compare to other blends I've been sampling. ”
