This blend was created for drinking on January 1st since it has creme flavor for the 8th day of Christmas (Maids-a-Milking). The Vanilla tea represents winter snow. And maple flavor is needed for a sweetness to offset the spicy ginger root accent. This is not a sweet pancake-y blend however!!! The darker style oolong contributes a toasty taste that makes this tea more coffee-like.
