White teas do their best at 175F, or 80C. I would not advise ever going above these numbers. If anything, I'd drop it lower still (Around 150F/65C is a good lower bracket) . You'll find the flavor will come out every bit as full, but you won't get any sharp tannin notes, resulting in a smoother, crisper flavor. Lowering the temperature will also allow you to resteep leaves more easily, which I recommend with white teas. They're pricey, get full use out of them! This tea will get approximately 3-4 resteeps. If you want stronger flavor, add more tea leaves, not more time. To prepare iced, simply use twice the tea leaves and half the water you usually would. Use the same amount of time (2 minutes). Drop over a full cup of ice, to flash chill and dilute to regular strength. To conserve leaves, just steep hot and put into the fridge.
