I thought that a chocolate orange chai blend might be worth trying, so I decided to make one and add this to my set of chai-based blends. This is mostly chocolate chai with equal amounts of chocolate tea and blood orange tea to bring out those flavors and offset the chai spices a bit. I think the orange flavor is a bit on the mild side, but there is less orange in the blend (since the chai is chocolate), so this makes sense. However, it also depends on how much of the orange you get in your cup. FYI, I normally drink chais quite sweet and at least sometimes with milk, so you may want to try this that way, too, and personally, I normally steep at 212 for 5 minutes since I like strong tea.
