“ Cocomint Green Tea consistently delights tea enthusiasts with its harmonious blend of chocolate and mint aromas that awaken the senses upon opening. Reviewers praise its ability to strike a perfect balance between the refreshing peppermint and the indulgent chocolate notes, describing the infusion as a festive dance of flavors that leaves a creamy mouthfeel and a lingering dark chocolate taste. Many appreciate its versatility, enjoying it both hot and cooled, with some noting its soothing qualities and its potential as a dessert tea. Despite some preferences for stronger tea bases or variations in mint intensity, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive. This tea has become a staple for many, celebrated for its light, refreshing, and well-balanced character, making it a delightful treat across seasons. ”
“ This one worked for me! Some tasters mentioned the green being noticeably grassy but I tasted mostly mint with a bit of chocolate. I kept the temp low and did short steeps, if that helps anyone. 2 mins @ 175° ”
“ This is a nice minty tea. Not a fan of the chocolate. But I enjoyed it much more than last year😊. It tasted like an Andes mint. I added honey. 😊 ”
“ April 6th 2024 REVIEW:
My past self, from last year, notated that this great tea was not too enjoyable...and that I should try this at lower temp. I tried this at the low, low temp of 160, actually...& steeped for two mins. I did *not* enjoy this particular tea, yet again, even at a lower temp. Ok, so, this tea has a tremendous aroma when coming out of the packet-- *Andes Mint Vibes* all the WAY! Once it steeps, the aroma just becomes an odd green tea aromatic vegetal scent mixed with light wafts of choc & mint. Not a scent mingling made in Heaven. The taste is 'ok' to me. I can see where someone would enjoy this as a unique green tea sip. But, it just wouldn't be something I would need in my stash. Some other Cocomint suggestions: Go for the superb Jeff Jackson's 'Cocomint' blend if you want caffeine--& also, Check out Rooibos Cocomint for caffeine-free goodness if you like a chocolate mint co-mingling together. ~~
Oct 5th 2023: A Review Posterity of my future self..I am not quite sure if I like Cocomint Green. Tried CCmint, in CommuniTEA today, 10/5/23. I would need to try it one more time to be sure, 100%, upon a final determination on an opinion-- yay or nay. Just gonna go with the middle ground of 3🌟's, for now. I found Cocomint to smell great, on the nose, in the packet..but after brewing at 180° for 4 mins--just, hmm, not great for the tongue. I will try 170° maybe even 160° for 2-3 mins next time. I found it weird and unpleasantly grassy...with little coco detected nor mint. ((and I *like* Green Teas, quite a bit!!)) 🤷♀️ ”
“ This tea was interesting. It's not my favorite tea, but it is tasty. The chocolate and mint are light in flavor, but balance each other well. ”
“ I will start by saying that I am a big fan of green tea. I also love mint in my tea. I'm not usually a fan of chocolate in tea, though. But, I enjoyed the peppermint patty flavor of this cup. I steeped it as directed and added turbinado for a sweetener. ”
