Steep and serve tea in this beautiful pitcher all summer long! Use in combination with our 28oz ingenuiTEA teapot or our large assortment of cold-brew pouches. Refrigerate overnight or for quicker preparation, fill with hot water. The borosilicate construction of this pitcher means it won't crack or sweat going from boiling to ice in minutes.
Made in China | 40 oz | 3.75" diameter | 8.5" tall | Borosilicate glass | Microwave and dishwasher safe
“ While this pitcher looks nice online, it's rather awkward in practical use. It holds an odd amount of liquid. 5 measured cups, which is like 2 American glasses. It's an awfully small amount of iced tea if you're the type of Southern American who likes tea. The pitcher is okay for one person use but a couple or a family would be making tea two or three times a day in the summer. If you make tea using the large ingenuiTEA, then this pitcher holds somewhere between 1 and 2 batches of tea. It's just weird to make 1 and 2/3 batches of tea. Finally, the glass feels ridiculously thin although I admit I haven't broken it yet. It almost makes me afraid to pick it up, my monster grip might crush it. ”
“ I should have looked more closely at the size of this pitcher as it is smaller than I expected. I love the simplicity of it and mostly the fact that it does not drip. This is my 3rd pitcher in 2 years because the other two (one of which is an Adagio pitcher) would constantly leak. I use the paper filters to cold brew my iced tea in the fridge. Love it! ”
“ Love this glass pitcher. Mine came with a light weight black plastic lid that is easily removable. The size is great! Lovely appearance!! Update: This is one of the best purchases I have made! ”
“ A very nice pitcher for steeping Adagio iced teas in the fridge. This is the perfect size. A huge plus that the pitcher is made of glass. The only negative is the weird lid that clips loosely (not air or liquid tight) onto the pitcher. ”
“ Perfect side pitcher to make iced tea for sipping on hot days. I love the lid and ease of cleaning. Glass is my favorite vessel, plus you can see the tea colors. It’s not too large and makes the perfect amount of iced tea for my daily consumption. Cheers! ”

At the top it says it hold 4 cups which is 32oz but the description says it holds 40oz. What is the correct amount of water to use when using this for your iced tea pouches, 32 or 40 oz?

Does the current pitcher have a lid? If so, I would appreciate a description.
