The irony of the Cassandra developers choosing a name associated with confusion and vague prophecy is not lost upon us. This blend is super smokey, punch-you-in-your-face, heavy-handed goodness. It is not for the faint of heart, or for those who do not like smoked teas. The smoke is very heavy on the nose, but is more of a lingering aftertaste on the palate.
Valentine's tea reminds us the Cassandra myth is rooted in love... red peppercorns remind us that love was rebuked and incurred the wrath of Apollo.
