Despite her rocky start as Cerberus 'ship cancer,' the artificial intelligence known as EDI has become a respected member of the Normandy Crew since choosing to aid them in defecting back to the Systems Alliance. After the botched mission on Mars she acquired control of the Cerberus synthetic Eva Core's body and she is now even more of an asset to the team since she is now able to assist with ground support. Just don't ask her to tell a joke.
For EDI I chose Gun Powder and peppermint for her cool, dry sense of humor. Vanilla green was chosen for how sweet it is that she'd risk non-functionality for Joker and the safflower is a hat tip to her visor.
