The Alliance's L2 biotics don't have easy lives due to the nature of their implants and the subsequent side effects. Dr. Karin Chakwas, medical officer aboard the Normandy, has developed an herbal tisane which seems to provide the L2 officer she serves with some comfort. Her formulation includes relaxing chamomile and lemon balm, mixed with South African rooibos for its soothing effect on the nervous system and anti-spasmodic properties.
