This tea has a high percentage of Mocha Nut Mate because it was the closest taste I could find to coffee. Cream, because like all of the main male characters of Person of Interest, he likes sweet pastries, and Gunpowder for his fondness of firearms... (Strongly advise using a steeper with a fine mesh, or the bags Adagio sells - you WILL end up with Mate bits in your cup otherwise.)

“ I really liked this tea. It wasn't as quite 'coffee with cream' like as, say, Anderson from the Mass Effect Sampler, but that's because it has the smokiness of the gunpowder tea in it. The gunpowder tea really brings him the fact that this The Operative tea represents John Reese. Reese just has that extra edge to him. ”

“ Really nice blend. It's quite strong when it steeps,one large pinch per 6 oz cup is perfect. The mate / gunpowder blend was unexpected, you can definitely taste both, but I think they actually improve in combination over each alone. Like this one best quite strong, with no froufrou milk or sugar added. ”

“ I'm so pleased with the way this one came out. It is strong, but it really does fit the character and it does taste good. The smoky taste of the gunpowder keeps the green from being too green, and it blends well with the mate ”

“ This tea is a joy to watch steep, as the gunpowder uncurls slowly. You wouldn't think that the green would come through all the other flavors, but it's there loud and clear. The color is very dark, like a cup of black coffee, and this is not a 'delicate' tea - it'll wake you up! Very strong blend that I like quite a bit. ”
