If the Wind blows Northerly, I go North. Known as Mal by his friends and crew, he is a straight shooter; a simple man. He's the Captain of the ship, Serenity, and an unlikely hero. But he's also loyal to a fault, and a space-age Robin Hood, stealing from the rich and, well, selling to the poor, which is why a fancy tea blend would not do for Our Mr. Reynolds. There are very few things he needs in this 'verse, but gunpowder is one of them. Add a little mandarin green to the already full-bodied, smoky cup of tea and you have a glimpse into the mind of Mal - no matter how many times he tells you that it's every man for himself, let it be known he will do whatever it takes to protect his crew.
