Kate was a sweet, brave princess who ran away with her stepsister Anne when her own mother turned Anne's head into a sheep's!
Of course, in true fairy tale fashion, these two princesses came across a kingdom with two princes; one who was well and one who was sick!
At the risk of her own life, Kate sat up with the sick prince for three nights to try to discover the cause of his ailment - he was taken to the fairy realm each eve and made to dance the night away!
By distracting a fairy child each night by rolling nuts, Kate was able to recover a wand to restore Anne's fair head, and a birdie to save the prince!
And they lived happily ever after.
