I grew up in Florida and was never more than 30-45 minutes away from a beach. Surprisingly, I rarely went to a beach. Yet I remember the distinct feel of the sun reflecting off the water onto my skin, the salty air in my nose, and the cool ocean breeze. Island Thoughts are loosely based on my memories of Florida (although Florida is not an island). Coconut, mango, and passionfruit will transport your mind away from your day and your current space to a deck chair on a nice, sunny beach. Add a little rock sugar or even some fruit tisanes honey and enjoy!
