“ This tea. Wow. I opened the bag and stuck my face in it. It will fill up your flat with the smell of cookies. It has a sweet smell from a distance, but a smoky smell when you lift the cup to your face. The first taste you get is the baked sweetness of cookies, with an inlay of the cherry taste, and then the smokiness settles in your mouth, followed by another layer of cherry. Sugar and cream don't need to be added, but they bring out certain flavours more than the others, depending on what you do and don't add to the blend. Delightful!! ”

“ 'Cloying' and 'medicinal' are the first words that come to mind when I open the bag - like a significantly less abhorrent Robitussin - and brewed, it was very rubbery. Thankfully, tea rarely tastes the way it smells - black was merely a decent staple tea, but milk and honey really bring this tea to life. Almost exactly like a cherry-filled butter croissant. I won't be drinking this as much as I'd thought I would when I ordered, but neither was I as disappointed as I thought I'd be when I opened the bag. Solid middle-ground. ”

“ The smell out of the bag is very strong - a distinct smokey, creamy and berry smell, like a cake. It definitely has a cream taste to it after steeping, I let it steep for 5 minutes just a cup, 1 teaspoon. It has a nice combination of tart and sweet, it isn't a strong flavor but it is very satisfying. Tried to add some cream, but definitely prefer it plain. Overall - fairly light, perfection treat for midday. ”

“ Hmmm...I'm divided on this tea. I found the smell unpleasant. Too astringent, smokey, and savory. I could smell none of the 'cherry' or 'fresh cookies' smell everyone was talking about. I was almost concerned that I got the wrong tea. I brewed it though, and while it's not very remarkable served plain, it's LOVELY with milk and honey added. I still don't enjoy the smell but the taste is unique in a good way. ”

“ Just got this in today and wow, the smell is just intoxicating. I've had some other cherry teas before, but this one is true to the character it's based on: it's seductive. It smells strongly of very sweet cherry and it feels very soothing to drink. There is a subtle smokey aroma to it deep down, but this is a very cherry blend. If you like sweet, fruity blends, this is definitely recommended. ”
