Betty was the biggest ISA Brown chick we had. I always joked she was going to kill me in my sleep, she always looked at me so angry. Her name started with Big Betty. Since she was the biggest, she was the first to start losing her baby down, patchy and horrible compared to the rest of the flock; her name became Ugly Betty. When all of Betty's feathers came in we saw that she was the only ISA brown with black tail feathers. I called her Black Betty (bam ba lam) from that point... We lost Betty in the first fox attack. To this day I still miss her and feel so sorry, for failing to protect her and for always making fun of her.
