This blend is named after the pleasure garden in London from 1785 to 1859. Jane Austen stayed with her brother who lived on the other side of the Thames from Vauxhall Gardens. The gardens were featured in Georgette Heyer's novels "A Convenient Marriage," "The Spanish Bride," "The Masqueraders," "Arabella," "Regency Buck," "Friday's Child" and "Faro's Daughter." It was also featured in the period drama Bridgerton.
