“ Everybody appeared to be present in my communiTEA packet this morning. There was excitement a-brewing! Very pleasant almond and ginger aromas were noted.

I had 3.12 grams of ingredients, enough for a 12.5 ounce steep. I steeped everything at 190°F, the average of the times for the oolong and green teas combined. I pulled the steep at the three minute mark, when the color depth was to my liking.

When hot, mild buttery flavors were noted from the oolong. Ginger and ginseng flavors were mild and zingy. I added a bit of sugar to bring out the almond and oolong flavors a little more.

When warm, mild grassy flavors were noted from the two green teas. Moderate oolong earthy and buttery flavors were noted. Almond flavors were moderate. Moderately invigorating zings were noted from the ginseng and ginger. These zings hung around on my tongue and palate all the way to finish.

The marigold made all this work by smoothing all flavors together. This was a very energizing sip that got my motor up and running for the day! You must sip this one in order to get the ginger-ginseng effect … gulping is not allowed! A second steep was just as tasty as the first. This blend is goin’ into my shopping cart forthwith.
