A warmer, smokier chai for those of you that like the Starbucks style Chai Latte. Vanilla black tea to bring out the flavors of the traditional masala chai and just a hint of toasted mate to give it the warm, smoky flavor of a street vendor boiling chai over a flame.
“ This is one of my favorite chai blends I've ever tried. It tastes exactly like what you'd get from Starbucks or Panera but better quality. The spices are perfectly balanced. I can't wait to try it iced! ”
“ This is seriously the best chai I have had. My cup is 18 ounces. I used 2 teaspoons of vanilla chai tea latte and 1 teaspoons of cream tea. Steep for 4 minutes. I added 1 ounces of milk and some honey. You will not be disappointed! ”
“ I tried this since I enjoy the Starbucks and Panera Chai Tea Latte's. It smells delicious!! I made it, added 2% milk at a 50/50 ratio and it was very good! I added a little sugar and it was EVEN BETTER than the store bought ones! Amazing!! It tasted healthier and was definitely more affordable! I am going to try it with vanilla almond milk next! I would love to get this in tea bag or larger size!! ”
Add a few black peppercorns and/or a pinch of cayenne for a more intense cup with a bite. I recommend boiling 1tsp with 6oz water for at least 10 minutes to bring out the full flavor of the tea. Then serve 2/3 tea to 1/3 whole milk and 2Tbsp agave nectar for a sweet treat. Normally I brew a pot at a time and refrigerate the sweetened (no milk) tea in a mason jar.
