“ Lapsang souchong is a favorite blend of mine, so I couldn't resist when I saw it paired with vanilla and white peony in honor of one of my favorite Three Houses characters. The sweeter 'white' flavors take the smoky edge off of the tea's otherwise strong base, resulting in a darker flavor with mild notes and hints of floral sweetness. Don't let its bold exterior fool you: it's soft and gentle on the inside. Serve with sugar or heavy cream to emphasize its gentler qualities. ”
