This tea is not for everyone. The heavy handed lapsang souchong in this blend masks the currant- creating a heavy smokey flavor, reminiscent of the fate that befell Corde as she risked her life to protect Padme from the threats on her life. To best appreciate the currant notes of this tea, a cold Irish Blackberry Soup is suggested, topped with a creme fraiche custard. For those more adventurous, tea smoking foods such as fish or meat would be an excellent extra use of this blend.
