The Singapore sling is definitely an old-timey tropical inspiration-drink. According to various recipe sources, it often consists of cherry brandy, lime juice, pineapple juice, gin, possibly *even more* brandy, and Bénédictine herbal liqueur, which has been variously described as tasting of lavender, thyme, cardamom, juniper, and vanilla -- quite the mysterious bouquet of flavors, there! For this particular booze-free 'teaspiration,' tart dewy cherry combines with lemon-limey citron green and a generous splash of pineapple-laced calypso green, with a few herbaceously-minded accents of pineapple, lavender, and cardamom. Do try it iced, if you please. Paper umbrella optional.
