Steeping Notes: I like to steep black teas for 3-4 minutes at 195-200F.

Is this like drinking a chocolate covered strawberry? No silly, this is tea and you can only get so close to that experience with a beverage. This tea does have strong chocolate and strawberry flavors, and the honeybush vanilla provides a hint of natural sweetness and smooths everything out. I prefer this with nothing added - which makes the strawberry more prominent. With cream, I feel like the chocolate comes forward a bit more. Can’t go wrong either way. The first steep is where the magic is, as the chocolate chips provide a chocolate boost and add texture to the mouthfeel, and the dried strawberry bits provide a burst of flavor… those are both used up and can’t help during a second steep.
