Classic black tea from the island of Sri Lanka. Clean, tangy aroma, medium body, with sweet citrus notes like mandarin, and refreshing astringency.
A gentle, natural decaffeination process retains the delicate shape and flavor of the tea leaves. Our decaf teas are decaffeinated using the superior carbon dioxide (CO2) process, which retains the most flavor and antioxidants.
Black Tea | Trace caffeine | Steep at 212° for 3-5 mins
Our teabags contain the same high-quality tea as our loose-tea offerings. Their pyramid shape gives the leaves plenty of room to unfurl and infuse, placing more flavor in each cup. Enjoy the superior flavor of gourmet tea with the convenience of a disposable bag.

Lore
Sri Lanka is an island country located to the southeast of India's southern tip. Rich in spices (and tea, though that came later), it's been a popular trading hub for centuries. The climate is warm and tropical, with a landscape that is rich in rivers and forests. Over one in five of its flowering plants and mammal species are completely unique, or endemic, to the nation, and it has the greatest biodiversity of all of Asia. Though Sri Lanka changed its name from Ceylon in 1972, much of the tea produced there is still sold under the country's old name.
