Earl Grey Bravo is a classic blend of artisan black tea from Sri Lanka, flavored with bergamot (a citrus fruit). The perfect afternoon tea: zesty and exhilarating fresh citrus aroma, slightly dry to the nose, with a rounded and balanced orange rind flavor to match the tang of Ceylon black tea. Our Earl Grey Bravo benefits from a pleasantly dry finish with a lingering citrus sweetness.

“ This Earl Grey Bravo tea garners mixed feelings among its reviewers. Many enjoy its bold bergamot and zesty orange notes, appreciating the unique twist on the classic Earl Grey. The added citrus twist and smooth flavor make it a staple in many tea collections, suitable for enjoying at any time of the day. However, some find the bergamot overpowering, describing it as soapy or too perfumey, indicating it may not be for everyone. Tips from satisfied drinkers include adding honey or cream to balance the bergamot's intensity, suggesting variations in preparation can significantly enhance the experience. Whether for a morning wake-up or an afternoon refreshment, Earl Grey Bravo offers a vibrant, slightly divisive, yet classic tea choice. ”
“ 7/9/2024 Update: My goodness, I think EG finally won me over and after drinking this a number of times, this is now my favorite Earl. I really enjoy the citrusy notes that the addition of the orange brings, together along with some Peach and I'm in tea heaven.
2-19-2024 Update: My favorite tea is my Mystery EG with Peach which uses EG Moonlight. But because I enjoy that one so much, this one now tastes better to me than previously. It's still too strong of bergamot on its own - but im digging it with Vanilla Ooooooolong today :D
6-16-2023 original: I'm not a fan of bergamot so I added some blood orange to the mix to complement the orange rind. I usually don't finish earl grey teas, but with the added orange and cream and sugar I'm enjoying this cup. But I think by itself, the bergamot would have been too strong for me. ”
“ I recently ordered this tea because it was recommended to me. I'm not a fan of earl grey in general but I gave it a try anyway. The first sip had me puckering my lips because the sharpness of the bergamot was unexpected. However, the more I let it sit and cool the better I liked it. I bet it would be a great iced tea. UPDATE: Upping this review by one star because it does make a really good iced tea. ”
“ A beautiful citrus-forward Earl Grey blend! I love both the citrus and floral elements of Earl Grey, so I actually like to blend this with the Earl Grey lavender blend sometimes. This is also great for a London Fog! I sweeten it with a vanilla lavender syrup and it's just fabulous.
Got this again and can affirm it's still my favorite for a London Fog. I brew it at double strength so it holds up against the steamed milk. ”
“ This is an amazing blend of earl grey and pieces of bergamot. I have tried different teas at Adajio Teas, as well as from other providers and this one is the best! ”

Ingredients & Lore
blended with black tea, orange, natural bergamot flavor & blue cornflowers
Bravo is a word with several meanings. One of them is to swap out for the letter "B" in military communications. An older, lesser known one is to describe a bandit or assassin for hire. Here at Adagio though, we prefer its most common usage, which is to congratulate a performer on a job well done. Earl Grey has been around since around the 1830s and continues to be one of the most popular blends in the world today. For always filling our cups with cheer, we think that deserves a round of applause. Bravo!

In a sampler pack I loved the earl grey bravo, so I ordered a large bag. The large bag lists cornflowers as one of the ingredients, but they weren't listed on the bravo sampler package. Am I getting the same tea? I disliked the moonlight and rooibos te
