“ I ordered this kettle to avoid the aluminum in my tea, and it fit the job, nicely. But I had a problem with the kettle when it was finished boiling. If you don't watch it like a hawk, then it overflows and will blow the lid right off. I got burned with hot water one time, and twice, my children were near it when the lid flew off. If you have smaller children, and cannot babysit your kettle, I would suggest you find a different kind with a whistle.
Also, the shape of the spout is not user friendly. If you are pouring boiling water, almost everytime it gushes out and burns you. I just think there needs to be another option than this one. ”
