According to the product's packaging these jars are UV shielded, so you may display your tea without fearing Ra's wrath.

Clumsy buyers, take note: the glass in this jar is about 1/8" thick, roughly the same thickness as the walls of Adagio's glass mug and their TriniTEA carafe. This is sturdy enough to withstand occasional, light impact, but it's far too delicate to survive a fall from a countertop to a hard floor. ”
