cinnamon inclusion
Sweet hot cinnamon has graced Egyptian temples and found favor in Greek mythology. Harvested from the inner bark of Cinnamomum trees, it is used for incense, candles, baked goods and beverages with its warming nature. It may be helpful in lowering blood sugar and cholesterol as well as offering anti-inflammatory effects. In tea blending, it's the belle of the ball as it goes so well with so many flavors, adding sweetness and gentle heat.

Origin: Vietnam | We recommend referring to a healthcare practitioner before using herbs and spices, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or on any medications.

Cinnamon chips are a great spice to have to add to your favorite teas, especially chai and fall teas. Adding extra cinnamon notes warms the soul and makes your cup of tea feel like a dessert. They worked really well in my stove top chai! I think they would add nice spice to your favorite fall cider. I am going to investigate some other ways to use these cinnamon chips in recipes.

I enjoy adding a little extra kick to spice teas and what a delight the Adagio CS is-it’s easier to add a few nuggets during brews as opposed to sprinkling on ground cinnamon (which does not blend in). The flavor is chefs kiss to any chai tea.

I’m so very happy Adagio has spices now. All the tea I drink that has cinnamon never seems to have enough. It’s nice to be able to add more kick to them and still be able to garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon on top. Looking forward to the spices sister site. @adagioteas
