For this tea, I wanted to combine the smell of cigarette smoke, wet earth, and vanilla all while trying to make an enjoyable flavour of tea. I was hoping to catch the scent of the beloved Alaska Young as told by Miles or 'Pudge', our narrator of Looking for Alaska. I'm not quite sure what the individual teas taste like, let alone how they would fare together in one cup. I don't have the money to purchase so much tea online, but I hope by relying on others reviews that I have made a decent blend worthy of your future cups.
I was inspired to make this blend while reading the book Looking for Alaska by John Green. I was feeling quite melancholic while reading the second half the book and wanted to somehow immortalize Alaska. When Pudge described the way she smelled to him when he entered her room for the first time after her absence, the idea hit me to make a tea blend. And this is how this blend came into existence.
