“ The Jolly Roger tea blend has overwhelmingly captured the hearts of tea enthusiasts with its adventurous spirit. Celebrated for its rich butterscotch, cinnamon, banana, and hints of cocoa and clove flavors, this tea offers a sensory journey reminiscent of swashbuckling escapades. Reviewers commend its ability to transform with the addition of frothed creamer, elevating it to a dessert-like experience that rivals the finest grogs. Its aroma and taste invoke images of festive gatherings with a pirate crew, sharing a warm, comforting cup. Despite some mixed feelings about the clove element, the blend's delightful symphony of flavors, particularly when clove is absent, makes it a coveted treasure in many tea collections. The playful, pirate-inspired reviews highlight not only the unique taste but also the sense of community and fun Jolly Roger brings to the tea-drinking experience. ”

“ 19 Sep ‘22 tastin’: Me communiTEA packet were missin’ da clove! So, gave this here blend another try. It tasted much mo’betta without the clove, an' more fit fer a pirate o' fortune! (5 mins @ 190ºF, ⅜ tsp sugar)
19 Sep ‘21 review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️: All ingredients was present in me communitea packet. Jolly butterscotch, cinnamon an' banana aromas was noted comin' from the bag.
When 'ot, mild cocoa nib bitterness been noted, so I added a little more sugarrr than normal to counteract this here. Also noted was moderate banana an' cinnamon flavors with a smooth buttery mouthfeel in the background.
When warm, the “scotch” got added to the “butter” flavor an' chestnut flavors made themselves known. As things cooled, all players 'ad blended nicely together except fer the clove. Aaarrgh!
Clove tastes was overpowerin' an' just didn’t work in this here blend. Both the 'oneybush banana nut an' butterscotch teas be jolly by themselves an' blended together as long as clove wasn’t added. Save cloves fer chai blends. Savvy? (5 mins @ 200ºF, ½ tsp sugar) ”
“ I received this as a free sample during Talk like a Pirate day. And I set it aside when my tea order came and forgot about it. Until one day someone mentioned it and said it had honeybush in it. Then I found out it had Banana Nut Honeybush!! So I gave it a try and it is my new found favorite that I can drink at any time. The hardest part is waiting for my order to arrive after running out. ”
