The mango iced tea received a range of positive reviews for its flavor and ease of preparation. Using just one bag, drinkers can prepare up to a gallon of this refreshing beverage, praised for its strong tea base complemented by light, sweet mango notes. Though some found the mango flavor to be subtle or floral, the consensus is that it makes an excellent everyday iced tea. It's particularly favored during summer, offering a satisfying tropical twist. Users appreciated the convenience of the tea pouches, and the ability to rebrew enhanced its value. While opinions on sweetness varied, adding sugar or agave was recommended for those who prefer a sweeter drink. Used an iced tea maker for this, one bag makes a pitcher. Very strong tea flavor with mango notes. If you like sweet tea, definitely add sugar. The mango doesn't sweeten it very much.

I was pleasantly surprised that I got a total 2 quarts of tea out of one bag! Steeped in a mason jar for 5 minutes with 16 oz of water, then moved the bag over to another mason jar and did the same. Added cold water and stuck ’em in the fridge.

Both brewed up a nice dark amber color with a nice light sweet mango smell. The taste is nice, nothing too extraordinary but a really good everyday iced tea that pleases a wide audience. The mango is light and sweet and allows the black base to still shine through. Yum. :)

This is a great mango flavored black tea! I like that the tea is in pouches and you just add a pouch to a quart size container filled with water, and put it in the fridge overnight, or outside in the sun for a few hours.

Ingredients & Lore

blended with black tea, mango pieces, natural mango flavor & marigold flowers

Once upon a time, there were forests of mango groves in India and the continent still produces half of the world's stupendous supply. Although known for 4,000 years, mangos only came to the U.S. in the 17th century via Portuguese traders who also introduced it to western Africa and Brazil. Spaniards introduced it to South and Central America and the Philippines. It's the third most popular tropical fruit in the world after bananas and pineapples. The plump, oblong mango, named for the Malaysian word manga, is sweet, juicy, and adds a softness to foods and beverages, especially teas.
