“ Darjeeling Summer (Hot) - Mild fruity aroma with grassy notes. Good straight, better with a touch of sugar, milk not recommended. Mildly astringent. Very drinkable would likely enjoy again. Assam Melody (Hot) - Light smokey aroma and flavor. A familiar tasting tea. Slightly bitter. Sugar and milk needed for me. Honey with no milk turns out to be best. Ceylon Sonata (Hot) - Beautiful smooth tea. No bitterness, just classic black tea flavor. Add a touch of honey for sweetness, milk if you like. This became my go-to breakfast tea from this sampler. Highly recommended. Irish Breakfast (Hot) - What I think of as classic tea flavor. Very drinkable straight, but does very well with some milk and sugar. If you’re looking for something familiar, this is probably it, you just don’t know it yet. ”
“ I got this as a gift for my dad because he wanted to try loose leaf teas and I know he prefers black teas to other kinds. He loved these! They're fairly forgiving and a good primer for people who want to learn to brew looseleaf. ”
