“ The Leo Zodiac tea from Adagio Teas has garnered praise for its unique blend that combines the smooth, creamy sweetness of vanilla with the refreshing zest of orange. Reviewers highlighted the harmonious balance between the various components, such as oolong, chamomile, and rooibos, which together create a soothing yet flavorful experience. While some users wished for stronger notes of vanilla and orange, others appreciated the blend as is, noting that it strikes the right balance without overpowering the senses. The tea's ability to be enjoyed both hot and cold adds to its versatility. However, opinions on the prominence of rooibos and chamomile varied, with some finding them too dominant. Despite this, the overall sentiment points towards a well-crafted blend that stands out for its delightful aroma and taste, encapsulating the spirit of Leo with its bold yet comforting profile. ”
“ I really enjoyed the Leo Zodiac tea. I could taste the smooth creamy vanilla with a pop of orange zest with every sip. Delicious! @adagioteas ”
“ All advertised ingredients were present in my communiTEA packet. Chamomile and orange aromas were noted.
I had 2.78 grams of ingredients, enough for a medium strength 11 ounce steep. I steeped for 200°F for the oolong for four minutes, to bring out flavors and makeup for the lower temperature.
When hot, mild floral flavors were noted. I added ¼ teaspoon of sugar to support other flavors.
When warm, moderate vanilla and mild orange flavors were noted. The chamomile and red rooibos blended nicely to produce mild honey flavors. Rooibos woody tastes are minimal. The chamomile provided a pleasant floral taste and aroma throughout.
Leo was a very tasty zodiac blend to be sipped and savored. A slight caramel flavor was noted toward finish. (4 mins @ 200°F, ¼ tsp sugar) ”
“ Orange you so glad?
Glad you got to drink this tea?
Yup, I just punned you!
One syllable orange
Or two syllable or-ange
Two in stanza one!
I’ll just leave you be
As I happily sip tea
Plain as you can see
(Haiku Review-silly)
This tea is layered
In the front orangey oolong
With woody Rooibos
Then it’s chamomile
Mixing with the vanilla
Well balanced sipping
(Haiku review- not silly) ”
“ In the tin, it kind of smells like candied oranges, sweet and yummy like those orange and creme hard candies they used to have. Brewed, it mellows out a lot. This oolong is a much lighter one than the one used in Aquarius, and it melds nicely with the orange and vanilla.
Despite that it smells like orange and creme in the tin, the undercurrent taste is much more vanilla. Because there are fewer flavors, the oolong is really allowed to shine, with the rooibos and chamomile complementing, and the orange and vanilla following up and leaving a refreshing, slightly citrus taste. It’s the only other citrus tea in the collection besides Pisces, and it’s a very different sort of citrus. Where Pisces is super uplifting and bright, the chamomile and vanilla here help to calm the orange down and leave it as a softer taste, rather than the grapefruit’s almost brashness. ”
“ The orange and vanilla flavors, along with the oolong and chamomile, tame the mighty rooibos! This is a smooth, softly flavored tea that is great both hot and iced. ”
