Let this uplifting, aromatic tea guide you through this coming cold and flu season. Zesty lemongrass and ginger blend with soothing peppermint and licorice root to provide a therapeutic cup of tea that pairs perfectly with a spoonful of honey. Consider this your new go-to sick day tea: Ginger helps clear your sinuses and calm your cold, peppermint helps to soothe your stomach, lemongrass and peppermint provide uplifting caffeine-free energy, while licorice root coats and calms your sore throat.
Just finished a cup of this delicious tea. I enjoyed the zing of ginger with the bright and citrusy lemon flavor! Yum!

Fire is roaring, working on tea swap idea, Saw the twins🩷🩵 through the window. Am in love. Making Woodies Another Half Moon Sleepy tea then off to LaLa Land. Goodnight CT!
12:11 am
So glad you got to see those twins. I know you can’t wait to get those hugs going!
12:13 am
Those tiny toes X 20🩵🩷😍🥰
12:10 pm
Homemade cashew milk made in my new nut milk machine, so easy and healthier than store bought, I think it would be great in a chai.
12:13 am
This is a great idea, any complaints about the one to bought? I use so much nut milks and also oat occasionally
12:46 am
Hey Jasmine, no complaints yet, it's easy to use, can do oat milk, nut milk, soy milk, and smoothies, I admit I bought the cheapest one I could find on Amazon and so far so good, I've only made two milks so far, cashew was amazing, rice was ok, I love knowing exactly what I'm putting in my stuff.
12:52 am
Good night

08:04 pm
I started a perimenopause/menopause support group tonight, it runs 5 or 6 weeks, can't remember. It was so good! I've been pretty apprehensive about it but glad I have it a try. That being said, I am spent. Good night everyone 💤
12:27 am
Jasmine, I hope it's helpful. On the far side of postmenopause, I think I need a group for all the aches and pains and old age. I did a little bit of yard work Monday, and my knees still haven't forgiven me. Hugs to you my friend.
12:29 am
Jasmine, sounds interesting do tell how you found this group?
03:32 am
My husband has made a comment about women needing a support group for this and I was like actually I'm gonna look. It just happens that there is a Portland Oregon local lady that was starting a group 2 weeks out. There was some in other states too.
09:40 am
That's fantastic, Jasmine. It's great to see more people talking openly about and supporting each other through this stage in our lives.
07:44 am
Yes! I'm sure there have been and are so many women suffering during this time feeling alone in it.
09:43 am
I just started HRT and need to find a support group. Every time I read a peri reddit thread I'm like, "ITCHY EARS!!!!!", or reacting to something else I didn't know was related to "the change". I mean, no one tells you ANYTHING about this nonsense. Luckily I think that is starting to change.
04:37 pm
We have been getting Biote bio-identical hormone pellets for about 5 years. No more hot flashes for me, plus I have regenerated some of the bone lost in my spine
Does everyone send something to everyone? It sounds fun, but also like maybe more energy/spoons than I have 😅 or could I put "sending to one person" (or two or something) somewhere?
01:26 am
You may send to as many or as few as you'd like, you can add that comment somewhere in there if you want, but it's not necessary.
01:28 am
yay! i got to see the picture! Thanks for sharing, Woodie/Irishman :)
01:03 am
PM
This sounds like a great tea.
01:03 am
i love it in blends, but do not enjoy it much solo...the lemon is too - almost artificial for me. But when blended it's just right. I have a fussy palate.
01:05 am
What do you blend it with Khrissi? You always have great ideas like mixing Earl Grey with Peach Oolong. Simply delicious!
08:08 pm
@ Janet, I like blending it with Orange black or Blood Orange if I want to stay caffeine free. Or Kona Pineapple. or a combination of the 3. It's also delicious in broths and other cooking....lol
09:19 pm
Happy birthday Rachel and Samantha!

Good morning communiTEA. I’m up too early today. May as well make a cup of tea and get the day started. I’ll start off with Kukicha. Hope you all have a wonderful day.
03:37 am
Good morning, everyone! It's one of those days where I feel like everything is beating me up all at once. My mom's food assistance was cancelled, the hospital wants over $1,500 for keeping me alive last month, and I just had to buy shirts, pants, and socks for the warm weather as what I had either went missing in the move or has holes in it. I am very stressed and it is affecting my sleep. It's one of those days where I can't help but cry from the stress. 😭
03:51 am
It's all going to work out. 💗
08:05 am
Thank you! That's what I keep hoping. ❤️❤️
10:14 am
How about a quote from my phone from the other day: “ Never lose hope storms make people stronger and never last forever”. Roy T Bennett. Minimal payments for bill, check in to see what else your mom can apply for or if it is was an error, and I feel ya on the clothes, I wear mine to the point of holes, and buying new is a pain!
08:13 am
Thanks! 😊 Yeah, I'm trying my best. It's just times like this I feel more like I'm drowning than swimming.
10:14 am
One step at a time Cassidy. You have strength.

Good morning everyone!!!
05:54 am
I got the new toastea and I will use it around the house or in the office, but don't know how I would possibly drink from it in my car or on the go? More of a thermos you pour into a cup to drink from. Alas, I shall enjoy it in my kitchen or in the office. Perhaps on picnics where I am sitting to drink from my wood travel mug. It is a screw off top, with the tea leaves in the top. It is a great design, just not as on the go as the prior one, with the flip top locking lid
06:17 am
I thought the same thing Michelle. I received mine yesterday, and although I never had the old ToasTEA and can't compare, I'm already mildly disappointed by the lack of ability to drink from it without completely opening it.
06:32 am
It will be great for teas I want to re steep across the day and for keeping my tea hot!
06:36 am
Happy Friday!🫖😎
06:24 am
Good morning! Well, my tea order arrived, even though it's mostly spices, and I now have the new ToasTEA (😁) and a bag of Irish Stout. I admit, I barely got my picture taken before I was breaking into the Irish Stout. 😅
06:41 am
Anneke, your son is too cute!
06:45 am
Thank you, Tanya! He's also a bit of a ham. 😅
09:20 am
Good morning! I'm starting the day with some coffee. And excited to see my daughter later. I can't believe she's graduating from college this year. Have a great Friday!
06:44 am
I started with coffee, too. Now, I'm sipping a Cinco de Mayo latte.

Extremely windy here today. Time for a cuppa tea.
07:04 am
Windy here too. Not as strong as a few days ago, but enough to make a lot of noise and disrupt sleep.
07:10 am
Same, and then the phone rings at 7 am when you've not been able to close your eyes until 1 ish.🥹
12:16 pm
Good morning! Happy Friday!
07:38 am
Good morning, lovely Adagians! Happy Friday! I hope your day and weekend are off to a great start. Brrrr...it's cold today. I know it's supposed to warm up, but I'm not sure if it is going to do so later today, or later in the week. Oh, well, no worries...time for a nice cup of tea! God bless, stay warm and enjoy today's tea, or whatever it is you are drinking...😇🙏🫖...
07:38 am
Mornin' kids - excited for a weekend away. We're heading to Charlottesville this afternoon to see a Tophouse concert. They're such a joyful band! This will be the second time I've seen them live. After that, not sure what we'll get up to, but it's been years since we've been to the area, so I'm sure we'll find lots to catch up on. Hope everyone has a great Friday!
07:48 am
I saw them in January. The are wonderful! Have fun!
07:59 am
Good morning, CommuniTEA! Today's picture is of an old tower in the medieval town of San Giminagno. This was one of my favorite places we visited and I wish I could've spent more time here. The views were like every painting you've ever seen depicting the Tuscan countryside. Simply gorgeous! I'm slowly re-acclimating to my time zone and desperately need caffeine each morning. I will save today's lemongrass ginger for tonight when it's time to wind down. For now, I'm sipping on some Darjeeling Sungma Summer to start my day. Have a great day everyone!
07:48 am
Happy national cereal day! I have some kix in the cupboard now, I really don't eat much cereal, as I try to avoid sugars and food dyes (and eat gluten free). My hubby enjoys Applejack's, Lucky Charms, and Honeycombs, as well as the occasional Oops All Berries or Boo Berries :). Are you a cereal connoisseur?
07:52 am
I enjoy cereal, but I eat more in the summer or by the handful (if it's something that leans that way) as a quick snack.
09:24 am
I love not cereals, farina, cream of wheat, oatmeal, steel cuts oats Buttt when I want it cold I love those nutty mixed cereals with fruit. Post Great Grains, raisin bran, and have been known to nibble dry fruity wheat biscuits as snacks, Blueberry yummmm
12:19 pm
Those all sound good!
01:55 pm
Michelle, I mainly eat old fashioned oatmeal or steel cut oatmeal that I make myself. I also will eat Kashi Go Peanut or Kashi Cinnamon Harvest cereals. Hubby has Heritage Flakes almost every morning. Those are the only cereals we buy.
12:21 pm
I had stove top old fashioned oatmeal with blueberries today
01:55 pm
Michelle, so did I! The only difference was I added a few fresh currants, along with the blueberries. I saw fresh currants at the store when we last went shopping and was so excited. I love currant everything but had never had fresh currants before. I love them! So tart and perky. Yum!
02:02 pm
I used to love cereal but I try not to eat sugar/gluten much anymore. TechyBrent cannot start his day without it!
05:06 pm
Quit eating cereal well before I was diagnosed celiac. I used to love Grape Nuts and Grape Nuts Flakes though. I really loved Cream of Wheat on cold days and really began to miss it. I found a Cream of Rice that’s and ok sub that I do once in a blue moon.
09:28 pm
Have not had cereal in years
11:08 pm

Other than oatmeal I rarely eat cereal.

#7 hits home! I’ve been very in tune with mother earth and the weather patterns these last couple of days. Its neat watching everything come alive and active around spring time. I do plan on some outdoor tea time this weekend for sure! Thanks Twyla!
10:30 am
Yes, #5 Hits home for me ..Hag, uncertain 🤭 Definitely couped up all winter, need meditation, and body adjustment. Been tidying and just ran the swifter for winter's wall cob webs from the fireplace. Seriously downing some wellness teas. My order arrived last week. .. I really enjoy the randomness to these choose a picture or number posts, sometimes being drawn to a picture or a number can be your inner senses speaking out on your behalf simply by a brief thought being sent into your mind.
12:35 pm
I pulled #1 and I feel the relaxation thing hard lately. I think it's because we have gotten pretty settled in the house and I'm just happy to FINALLY be done with moving after a year.
03:50 pm
Today's pic is a recipe for lemongrass chicken. It looks delicious! I'll be stopping by later to read the rest of the chat and especially to pick a card! Twyla, you know I LOVE those. For now I'm off to the members preview of the new Hindu art show at SAMA, my first member event so I'm super excited! Later there is a members preview at the botanical garden for their new show, Reflections of Nature. It's an art-tastic day! Hope your Friday is perfect and Happy Sipping! https://www.feastingathome.com/lemongrass-chicken-stir-fry/

10:42 am
Good morning everyone!
10:34 am
Hello and enjoy your wonderful and delightful teas today on this Happy Friday. tea friends
10:53 am
Over the previous years' Winter Holidays we have enjoyed card exchanges, here as teapals. It was really nice and I treasured the cards and anything anyone sent. (Khrissi, the Lavender crochet..((which I used as a head wrap)) is magnifique, I wore it often this Winter.) However, I think most anyone could say this Winter was especially dreary and dismal--so it was all too interesting and sync that no one even mentioned a card exchange. I know I wasn't up for it. But ArtyJen and I got talking...She inspired the 'St. Patrick's or SPRING' card exchange.. & Khrissi has created the Spreadsheet, as you may have seen earlier. No pressure to partake at all, nor to include a tea in the card, nor give EVERYONE a card, nor even to put down your address, if you just wanna sent out cards only. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15LIr7P86nU4bPvYhW5_kOdOK6I8mypI1b0CIAMv0Y1Q/edit?usp=drivesdk
11:03 am
I’m not that tech savvy, how do I add my info to the spreadsheet?
01:15 pm
For me, I had to download the specific app for the spreadsheet. Once downloaded i could click or tap on the columns and add info.
01:46 pm
if you are on a computer, you should be able to just enter your data. If you cannot, then send me your info and I'll post it for you.
02:00 pm
For me ...there was a field in the lower right for you to begin to enter into the spreadsheet.
03:29 pm
Nice! I’ll be doing this in a bit. :) thank you for sharing
03:24 pm
To all my wonderful tea friends in communiTea I just want to say I missed you all very much and it was difficult not to communicate without woodster help. I was out of commission to write-type for awhile and when I could it was for a short time. Please forgive me , so I'm back and ready to enjoy everyone's comp-Tea-ny. Today's tea is just fun if you enjoy ginger and lots of tasty tea with so much fun to drink.. Love this herbal very much.
11:09 am
We missed you so much dear tea friend! I hope that you are feeling better after being under Nurse Woodie’s excellent care.

12:32 pm
I LOVE Yunnan Noir!
03:25 pm
Those of you in the Zoom Meeting, could you possibly ask if having a "teamoji" icon on our profile is possible. One that lets others know which teamoji you've created.
12:33 pm
Oh Gosh...I hadn't seen this post. I will make note for next talk. BUT.. The search function may return to being more fun...having endless scrolling of a search like we once did.
03:51 pm
Happy first Friday of Lent to those who observe. Ash Wednesday was interesting. Our priest and deacon mixed up a mud with the ashes and holy water and discussed which people were getting extra large crosses on their forehead. I ended up wiping this dried ash mud off with a flannel cloth and then had to wash it out. In previous years the priest and deacon only added minimal water to the ashes, some priests in the past just sprinkled some ashes over your head. Always something new to experience. I am saving today’s tea for a day when my stomach is somewhat unsettled. I could have used it recently before this box showed up. I used a teabag of ginger tea that I had in the cabinet. I was tempted to open the teabag to steep in my basket, since I am so used to that now.
01:21 pm
I’ve had a heavy application of gooey ashes in the past Rita. It’s not very pleasant.
09:07 pm
I've never gotten the sense the ashes were mixed with holy water, that never occured to me. I always thought they were just straight ashes from the previous year's Palm Sunday.
09:55 pm
Happy Friday!
02:33 pm
I'm saving today's tea for this evening when I am ready to wind down. I reached back to the February 3 Groundhog Day blend that I didn't enjoy on that day (due to not remembering the CT box until the 4th). I thoroughly enjoyed this Groundhog day blend way more then the one that was on February 2nd.
02:49 pm
Oh, I was the other way around..I like the Puerh one more than the Spring-y one.
03:49 pm
It's because of the chocolate in the Puerh one. Teas with chocolate have been very hit or miss with me, mostly misses.
10:24 pm
Good idea
03:10 pm
Happy Friday!
03:24 pm
Good afternoon tea friends. Last night I posted I was enjoying this tea without knowing today is the day for it haha! How amazing. I’m going to place an order for herbal teas since cold and flu season wiped me out. Is Irish stout worth stocking up on?
03:26 pm
Danielle - I think so but that is just me.
03:42 pm
Totally...If you like a darkish chocolate-y, cream-y tea..its real stout-y as the name says. I absolutely love it!
03:48 pm
It's one of my favorites, my sister & always keep it in the Stash. Highly recommend 😁☕️
04:24 pm
There are some awesome dups if you ever feel like you didn't order enough or maybe not ready for a big bag. But only Irish Stout has the clover sprinkles.
05:02 pm
Yes, Danielle. It’s the best in my humble opinion.
09:07 pm
238 days till Halloween 💜🎃💜 Happy Friday 🌞
04:26 pm
Hi Sabby! Happy Friday!
05:02 pm
Ooooh, I was looking forawrd to this tea
05:15 pm
Per my Pick-A-Card, today, #7❣️....I choose a beverage for the weather...Sunny Tangerine juice. 🍊🧡🌤 Omg, it was sooo good. And my Tea is: my 80s Tea on the Bsides... with White Tangerine. I have a big ol' bag of it...but hopefully White Tangerine will be back sometime this Spring. https://www.adagio.com/214182
05:35 pm
Today's tea is OK. Not really my thing though, which is generally the case with herbals.
I’ll add my 2 cents here to the person who bought Mikayla’s Ninjago blend, since I have had it too and have written a review on it. YOU ARE IN FOR A REAL TREAT!!!! At least, that’s how I feel about it!
09:31 pm
Thank you!
11:51 pm
Tea with a bite
07:30 pm
Another busy day but did get in a cup of Brigadoon. I’ll be sad when it is gone. I’m about to steep a second cup.
07:45 pm
i've been saving mine, but its about time for a cup. I surely did not pick up enough to last 4 years though...
07:59 pm
Good evening all. I enjoyed a delicious cup of EBeth’s Roanoke Earl this afternoon. It’s delicious and has a mix of black Mambo and Earl Grey and Green Chai. That EBeth is really creative! https://www.adagio.com/217653 Now I’m drinking a cup of Coconut Snow Chai, a tea I had forgotten about for a while.
08:01 pm
is Irish Stout tea one of the ones that goes back to the rewards section after it's season is over?
08:11 pm
Only if they have some left after sales end on the 17th. But if they run out, then no.
08:14 pm
Thank mew!
08:26 pm
When using 4 of the same card for an order do you just put all 4 in your cart and it combines them or do you have to combine them some other way? Sorry if it's confusing I had heard people talk about 4 cards altering something.
08:29 pm
You stack them on top of one another and you'll get a pop up notification asking if you want to combine them into a sample. Click yes...and then click redeem.
08:39 pm
Awesome, thanks. I am sure a ton of this stuff is much easier if I were on my laptop, but I am usually just on mobile.
08:40 pm
I'm not sure how to do it on the phone...for some reason im phone technophobic...lol. Computer tech and im ok. Even though a phone is just a tiny computer it still is much smarter than i.
08:47 pm
Turns out I did end up having to do it on the laptop as I could not stack them on my phone.
08:56 pm
Yay for Friday!

This one's great when you're feeling under the weather!

Hello hello
09:02 pm
Does anyone know why some trading cards here say available soon? I have a few that says this and I dont quite understand what that is supposed to mean. One has said this for about two weeks. Thanks in advance guys and gals.
09:27 pm
They don’t currently have that tea in stock in the portions size. Usually because it’s short an ingredient
09:38 pm
Ok, this makes sense now. Thank you 😊
09:43 pm
I think it means the portion is currently out of stock.
09:38 pm
Thank you, this makes sense now. I appreciate your reply 😊
09:44 pm
Where are the days going?!

I have been out most of the day playing bingo and running errands, and just realized I haven’t said hi yet, so HI!!!! Yesterday was the third day for me reading the book I chose on Tuesday, and at the end of the day, the Kindle app said that I’m 77% of the way through the book. The good news is that hopefully it will be the start of a good habit of reading - my first for this year. The bad news is that the story will be over soon…… and I will be very sad when I have finished the book. Someone in the group mentioned that they have read other books by the same author, Fredrik Backman. My question is, if you have read “My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You……”, are other books by the same author just as good?
09:43 pm
PM
YES!!!
10:36 pm
JS
Which one was your favorite, Paula? Looking for a recommendation for my next book.
10:54 pm
Good to hear you are reading, Jan. I loved A Man Called Ove, Beartown - Beartown, Bk 1, and Us Against You - Beartown, Bk 2. I still have to read The Winners - Beartown, Bk 3. One of his I didn’t love is Anxious People.
11:15 pm
JS
Oh dear, Nancy, I saw somewhere on the Kindle app that Anxious People was the most popular of his books, and since it was only $2.99, I bought it tonight. Thanks for the recommendation of the Beartown series. I will definitely look into those too.

Nancy, I see that the Beartown books are all on Kindle Unlimited or else they are $13.99 (books 1 & 2) or $14.99 (book 3). I’m just not urge if I would read $11.99/month worth of books. Do you subscribe to Kindle Unlimited?

Loving today's lemongrass ginger tea. Definitely enjoying the combination. I don't feel like the ginger is strong, but definitely getting lots of the lemongrass flavor.
