And good morning, everyone! Happy Caturday! I presented some issues to a regional lead yesterday morning, and suddenly found myself tasked with marking up all of the issues in all of our presentation templates. 🤣 Hours later, I submitted them all to her and she was very happy. Now she is going to send them off to the legal team and marketing, etc. So that hopefully our stuff can be fixed later this year. She was very happy with my attention to detail and the fact that I brought up these issues and was so willing to help out. 😊 Yay!

Adagios milk oolong is amazing and I got emotional trying it ( Irishman's stash) because for years I tried to find a milk oolong all over the top tea web-sites (no luck) with out the putrid, rancid milk taste and adagios is the only one that came through, but I embarrassed because adagios Milk Oolong has been around forever.

We've had a bit of snow, with more in the forecast later today, and late tomorrow into Monday. We'll have to see if my husband's work gets called off on Monday. Good morning everyone. I had a really good day yesterday and am hoping for another one today. I have only the White Ayurvedic Chai, which I will enjoy later in the day. As much as I can put myself in varying mental states of awareness and go into a relaxation zone, etc... I cannot be quintessentially hypnotized. ((ie., ....have tried group hypnosis and was dismissed early on. There are some cues they just can tell who isn't going to be hypnotized. I was super open-minded to it, too!))

Not sure if it's just me, but I find my tea tends to be weaker if I have to use a tea bag vs my mug with the strainer. Good tea though!

I agree Jessica. It makes sense to me that when the leaves sit freely in the water, without the paper filter compressing them in any way, that more flavor is dispersed throughout. I tend to use paper filters only when I’m on vacation and without supplies for dealing with all the tea leaves. I probably use a little less water as well, to maximize the flavor. A little extra time might be worth trying as well.

I wish FedEx would give more accurate delivery dates/times. My tea haul shipped on Thursday, and it arrived in Binghamton last night. According to FedEx, it will arrive today. How? It is over 4 hours away and hasn't even left that facility yet. I'm sure I'm going to get a notification later that the delivery is being rescheduled to tomorrow or Monday.

Yes, totally! FedEx delivering a tea parcel through me to Arizona friends took awhile to get to them with a lot of delivery day updates. The parcel even, "WENT back to the facility for inspection." I was nervous that the Honey that sent my friends broke or something. But apparently there was nothing wrong with the contents..so..🤷‍♀️

Wow. This is good. It took me by surprise. I don’t really choose chai very often. I like them well enough, but it rarely takes the place of first choice. It all began when I simply looked at the tea and saw all the fruit pieces: pineapple, coconut and apple, but what really got me was the scent. The cardamon came through first and strong. For most, cardamon links with Chai and thus India but for me Cardamon takes me back to the backed goods of my youth having grown up in an area rich in Scandinavian heritage. Fortunately for me, I had just been given a wonderful homemade fruitcake filled with bright spots of apricot and the flavors of coconut, orange and cinnamon. These two didn’t only taste well together but looked like a pair as well. While the tea is very much a Chai, and a good one at that, this morning it took me not to India but to the warm, scent-laden kitchens of my youth and for that I am grateful. Thankfully, the leaves were able to stand up to a second round of brewing- and a second slice of cake.

I have been listening to a radio broadcast on movie music and the presenter mentioned that for her hearing music from the Wizard of Oz reminds her of her grandmother’s rice pudding which was served when the family watched the movie on tv. Memories are definitely tied to sound and smell.

It's blustery, chilly, yet oddly peaceful outside my windows. Great topic! I try to talk to nature squirrels, birds, trees, the wind, the cold, and spirit. I aim to journal, sketch, dance, read. I try to play music I love and avoid that which doesn't help my mind (i.e., social media, the news). (And I drink tea of course), I focus on gratitude and whatever lesson I mAy be learning, and learn things to help me along the way from podcasts and classes (like the let them theory, setting boundaries, shamanism discussions or any topics of interest)

Hello friends! I am 4 days in to dry January! Who is with me? I am filling my days with fun activities. Today’s pic was from the Polar bear plunge at Santa Monica beach. Hundreds of us all plunged and/or swam in the ocean this morning and then came to the community pool which was heated to 95 degrees to warm up. Plus hot chocolate! Having a great first weekend of 2025!

Today's tea is OK, but I'm mixed about it. I like chais, but white tea is really too light for my taste. Sweetening it will probably help since that's how I normally drink chais, but I don't think this is my thing. I prefer chais with black tea bases so they're strong.
