Two neighborhood cats come running when I shake the temptations. The smaller of the black cats just started trusting me enough to come close, the big one has been my buddy for awhile, he is Frodo, the smaller one is Sebastian (only my names). They are both domesticated dudes

John, for years we had a regular visitor to the front yard, and we called him Monster, not because of his personality, but just his size. He was a gorgeous tuxedo cat with a Maine Coon body. He must have weighed 20 lb. We never knew where he came from until years later we met a neighbor about three houses up the street. By that time Monster was getting older and having some health issues, which is when we learned his real name was Otis. Somehow, it just didn't seem to fit. 😹He was the sweetest cat, but he eventually stopped coming to visit and we never heard anymore about him.

Michelle, some of the frequent visitors from the neighborhood really become our own, don’t they? The big black cats, Frodo, is also from 3 doors down, the little one, Sebastian, has a collar so I know he belongs somewhere. There are at least 4 other frequent kitty sightings, but none of them come close.

We had a black cat we called Mama, she was wild, but was swayed to allow me to pet her. We didn’t realize animal control was catching cats and we believe they got her…. My parents always have a stray or two on their porch

Beautiful kitties. I actually had a black cat with beautiful green eyes visit my backyard this morning. I would happily adopt them all, but my girls view them as intruders, which is a little funny as my girls are indoor only but still consider the backyard theirs). Unfortunately after Lady Grey sees them, she redirects her aggression to Lola, sometimes hours later, even with feliway everywhere.

Cassidy, I'm answering your question here, because I couldn't respond where you posted, LOL. Thank you for asking about my retreat. It was very nice and quite focused on St. Edith Stein. I have a lot of research to do it I want to know her better. It was a silent retreat which was very restful and faith filled. Are you feeling a bit better as the day goes on and you get some fluids, including your favorite teas, I hope, and vitamin C, etc, into yourself? God bless and take care of yourself. 😇🫖🍵😇

Mary, that it is! I remember being flabbergasted when I asked my first boyfriend what his favorite music was, and he told me he really didn't care for music. That relationship was indeed, doomed. I hope he's happy somewhere but I'm glad I didn't have to live a life without music. Hubby is my echo dot DJ every weekend and I love it. I never know what we're going to listen to.

My pic is of the cute Bonne Maman sampler at Target. I've heard that getting the advent is an epic showdown, so if you're like me and don't do that type of stress, pick this one up. It's also super cheap at $15. So far the guava jelly is my favorite.

Cute bunny picture today. Two of the Fluff Girls we do health checks for at the rabbit sanctuary. The staff call them the Crayola bunnies because they all are named after colors. Each visit we have to refer to the description on their name card to figure out which one we are checking out. We call them fluffs because we saw them as babies and they were adorable balls of fluff.

Surprisingly I had a portion of today’s tea. I actually thought it would be more bitter with the chicory and dandelion root. It is drinkable for me but still a bit more bitter than I care for.

Mmmm, I really like Chicoriccino. It's great alone, dressed up the way I like my coffee. It's also really nice as an addition to Rooibos Cinnamon Roll (that I found a little flat)

Mate and true teas have slightly different forms of caffeine, so mixing them gives an extra jolt. I like toasted mate and Assam, Lynn likes yerba mate and a mild green.
