Good morning, everyone, and Happy Valentines Day! My mom didn't come home from her doctors appointment yesterday, and hours later I found her in a hospital. I was able to get her home about 8 hours later. She still doesn't feel well, but I'm hoping she gets better soon. 🥺

I wish. She has all the symptoms of a gallbladder attack, but the gallbladder looks and acts fine. Yet her liver was swelled up. The doctor was so confused and unfortunately couldn't do much for her.

I don't know why I'm bothering to brew the tea. I have freaking COVID and all just tastes like warm water. Doctor gave me that Paxlovid, but I have my doubts as to whether or not it's actually doing anything. Sorry, it's day 4 of this crap and I just needed to rant a little.

Yucky. I had Covid last year in August, it kicked my butt so bad I cried a few days because I was so sick of being THAT sick. I thought it would never go away. Took me a good week and a half for the physical symptoms to go away, but my smell and taste took longer. I would tell my husband I could eat cardboard and I wouldn’t know it. I know the misery makes it seem like it will never end…but it will. Hang in there!

I had purchased a sample of Valentines just for today. It has a strong chocolate aroma and I hardly saw any strawberry bits in my sample packet. The rose petals also made me a little nervous since I had hugs and kisses day before yesterday and it was like drinking rose perfume sadly. I still made the commitment to try it and I was pleasantly surprised. I barely tasted the strawberry and no rose. It was however dominated by chocolate 😆. I had chocolate tea with a whisper of strawberry. I’ll take it over rose perfume any day. Hope y’all are having a wonderful and blessed Valentines. 💌 💝💘

Mixed two teas today, one called chocolate rose macaroon from Churchill’s, and the other half Valentine’s from Adagio here. Double delicious. The aforementioned tea from Churchill’s can’t seem to decide whether to lean more into rose or chocolate, but the Valentine’s very pleasurably balanced it out with more chocolate. I already love Valentine’s tea on its own 🙂‍↕️ Snacking on a couple brigadeiros (brazilian truffle) I made last night. Hope everyone has a lovely day!

My husband and I are deferring our Valentine's day out to tomorrow. We're going to a local Mexican restaurant, and then maybe tea and a cookie at our local tea/coffee shop, run by one of the local churches in town. I'm looking forward to it. Michelle, I think maybe it was just the ratio. Some people have left reviews saying that they found one thing and others didn’t, like sprinkles. Or one person said too much this and not enough that. Because valentines definitely didnt have that strong rose like I had with hugs and kisses. I know my foxtrot sample was packed with chamomile flowers (which I LOVE) and the tea bag version has some and the chamomile taste was less in them, but still good. I will try it again, but it may be one that is just “not my cup o tea”. 🤷🏻‍♀️

That is the only problem with the tiny samples. Sometimes not everything is there. I've gotten that in a lot of reviews on my blends that have been featured.
