Keemun Concerto is a single-origin black tea from the Qimen (祁門) county of Anhui province in eastern China — the origin of what is perhaps the most internationally celebrated Chinese black tea. Keemun Concerto, also known as Keemun Mao Feng (毛峰 — "hair tips"), is a premium grade of Keemun made from the tender tips of the tea plant, producing a tea with notably finer texture and more complex character than standard-grade Keemun.
Steeps a beautiful, fiery amber red. A smoky, almost incense-like aroma with the characteristic qimen xiang — the famous "Keemun fragrance" that includes floral orchid notes found in no other black tea origin. Rich, toasty flavor with mineral flinty notes, smooth and delicately earthy, with a slight fruitiness and a clean, mellow finish. Called the "Burgundy of teas" for its wine-like complexity and depth.
