AI Bot Summary
based on most popular reviews
The cinnamon rooibos chai tea has garnered a mix of fascinating reviews, overwhelmingly praising its bold cinnamon flavor that dominates the palate, reminiscent of red hots or atomic fireballs. Many were pleasantly surprised by the harmonious blend of spicy cinnamon with the subtle woody sweetness of rooibos and a hint of crisp apple, creating a comforting yet lively cup. However, some noted it might not suit those expecting a traditional chai, as it lacks the complexity of spices like cardamom and star anise. Perfect for cinnamon lovers seeking a warming, spicy kick, this tea offers a unique twist on chai, best enjoyed hot to appreciate its intense flavors fully.

Adagio could place this in fandom tin and slap a picture of red hots it and would need no other description.
That’s what this smelled and tasted like to me.
If I had been served this I would have said someone melted red hots and serves it to me! 😂

A daring cinnamon flavored tea with the accelerator down! If you’re not a cinnamon fan then you might want to hop out quick. The red rooibos tea base is fairly subdued in this tea so if you’re not a rooibos fan then cinnamon has you covered. An apple flavor is part of the flavor profile too and blossoms more as the tea cools. Along with a very mild woody taste from the rooibos tea base there is a bit of an appley tang at the finish. An 8 oz. resteep was milder in cinnamon flavor and more appley in taste so the flavors seemed to have flipped flopped in the two steeps for me.

There was 3 g/ 2 tsp of red rooibos tea with 5 apple pieces in the CT packet today with a heavy scent of cinnamon. I brewed 12 oz at 208F for 5 min. in my IngeniTEA and the dark red liquor had an aroma and first taste of cinnamon. I could sip plain but I used a touch of honey to calm the cinnamon taste a bit and brighten the apple flavor which came through more as the tea cooled. I chilled a bit of the sweetened tea and after tasting it cold I decided I preferred this blend hot.

I liked this tea and was surprised how well cinnamon and apple paired with red rooibos. I thought the cinnamon’s stringent earthy flavor complimented the natural woody sweetness of rooibos and the touch of apple flavor gave the blend a pleasant sweet tang. The reds have it today - red rooibos, red apple and red hot cinnamon make a great spicy tea. Add some red roses and Happy Mother's Day today!

Not sure I’d call this a chai. No cardamom or star anise flavors were noted. It’s more of just a cinnamon tea with an apple flavor in the background. It was very drinkable though with a 1/2 tsp and 1 TBL of half-and-half. Reminds me of hot Apple Crisp with a dollop vanilla ice cream! (5 mins @ 212F)

Set out your best dainty China on your best doilies and your tiny little cucumber on a pretty plate because you're about to have an everyday, run-the-mill tea.

PSYCH.

This isnt your grandma's tea. That is evident from your first sniff of this blend. The Cinnamon (yes, cinnamon with a capital C, because a lowercase c won't do) will blow your mind from moment one. It is like sticking your nose in a bag of Red Hots. This strong cinnamon aroma sticks around through brewing, but a hint of apple comes shining through also. I could smell only a hint of the rooibos base.

Get ready for a mouthful of Cinnamon hot lava, my friends, because that is exactly how this tea could be described. It is like drinking Atomic Fire Balls and I loved every second. There's also a hint of apple that turns the brew into a candied apple in a mug.

My stomach is going to die a little tonight but this tea is absolutely worth the hours I'll spend in agony after ingesting this spicy goodness. Try this one for yourself, especially if you love a good spicy tea. ❤

Ingredients & Lore

blended with rooibos tea, apple pieces, cinnamon, natural spicy cinnamon flavor & safflower

Rooibos tea comes from the leaves of the rooibos plant. Cinnamon is a made from the inner bark of several varieties of cinnamon trees. To harvest it, workers cut the bottom branches from the trees, stripping off the outer bark before beating the branches to loosen the inner bark. The inner bark is then pulled off in long strips to dry, at which point it curls into rolls or "quills", which are subsequently cut down or ground into the cinnamon sticks or cinnamon powder you see in stores today.

Does this tea really have no (or very few) calories? I brewed it overnight as an iced tea, and it tastes like sugar water. I like it, but have a hard time believing anything this sweet isn't basically the same as drinking juice or cola.

Hi! Roughly how many oz of tea leaves are in a pyramid? Trying to figure out how much loose leaf to put in per cup. Thank you in advance!
