“ 'Kiss me, you fool!' But first let's have a cup of this dark, brooding brew. Blackberry beckons earthy pu-erh with its flavors of cocoa and figs to come into the lair of smoky caramel and lapsang. A taboo tryst if ever there was one. Borderline hypnotic to some, interestingly tasty to others. ”
“ Yummy. I always like it when blenders try to blend with harder to blend teas like Kentucky Bourbon. This is done masterfully with the bourbon and the blackberry shining through. A hint of chocolate adds a bit of sweetness. I do not get the other flavors as much but this is really good if you like bourbony teas. ”

Ebeth's Response: From one bourbon blender to another, thank you very much!
Theda Bara was America's first mass sex symbol and gave birth to the term 'vamp'.
(Ok, remember this was 1915!) With her dark eyeliner and pale skin, men and women were mesmerized by her. Born in Ohio, with the dream of being an actress, Theda headed to New York, where her exotic looks were not unnoticed. In 1915, she was cast as a seductive vampire in a Fox Studios film called "A Fool There Was". The movie public had not seen anything quite like her and the studio marketing department went into imaginative overdrive creating a, enigmatic, mysterious persona. She made 40 movies in her 12 year reign as a screen siren. (Unfortunately, most of those films no longer exist on celluloid.) In 1926, sensing her fans would eventually turn their attentions to younger rising stars on the horizon, Theda retired from films, got married, and ironically, became a well respected society woman living her best life until her death in 1955. Theda Bara - the first bonafide vamp of the silver screen.
