Adventurer Ishmael joins a whaling ship, where he befriends a Pacfic Islander, Queequeg. Captain Ahab's obsession with the great white whale Moby Dick who once took his leg changes the ship's course. Crew morale drops until Ahab offers a reward for the first person to spot the whale. Ahab rejects pleas for help from a distraught ship captain whose son went overboard. After a premonition, Queequeg has a coffin made. Moby Dick takes down the ship and crew, except Ishmael, who survives on Queequeg's floating coffin. Part of the fandom, A Cup of Condensed Classics.
